I enjoyed my stay here with easy access to Centennial Park just about 500 meters away, and I loved being able to stroll to nearby eateries like Merry Ann's Diner, which is less than a 5-minute walk from the hotel. the staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable for my solo adventure.

The hotel was incredibly convenient for exploring the university area. The cleanliness of the common areas stood out, and we loved that there were multiple dining options nearby, making meal planning with a big family much easier.

In my wife’s opinion, the room could have used more thorough cleaning before our arrival.

We visited the local university and enjoyed a fun event nearby. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay relaxing. The room was comfy and perfect for our group. Just a heads-up for future guests, the dining options could be hit or miss, but we found some great places nearby.

Unfortunately, I noticed a tired, shabby atmosphere during my stay, and it felt like the hotel was in need of an update. It could really benefit from some refurbishment to enhance the guest experience.

i recently stayed here for a basketball tournament and was pleasantly surprised. the room was spotless, the staff was welcoming, and the amenities like the gym and pool made my short break enjoyable. overall, it exceeded my expectations compared to my last visit in champaign.

Oh, if you're a steak lover, you gotta check out The Ribeye nearby—hand-cut steaks that'll make your taste buds dance! Plus, the local diner scene is killer, especially Merry Ann's Diner for some good ol' comfort food. Also, enjoyed the spacious room vibe—perfect for kicking back after a day out.

Now, on the flip side, the place had its quirks. I found oat and bagel seasoning seeds on the fold-out couch, and the bedside table was a no-go! Also, the pool was MIA during my stay, which was a bummer.

The room had a nice firm bed that made a huge difference for my back. Jeff and Keisha in the dining room provided great service and were very friendly. I loved the impressive breakfast spread with real china and good coffee. It's rare to find such thoughtful dining in hotels. However, I experienced some issues. The air conditioning didn’t function properly the first night. I had to request maintenance to override the motion sensor for it to work again. Also, the front desk service could use improvement. One staff member had a very rude attitude when I needed assistance with the shuttle service. It was frustrating to deal with. Added to that, the parking situation is tricky with limited spots. Despite these inconveniences, the location is great for accessing the campus and nearby restaurants. I would probably consider staying again but would hope to see improvements.
